Kalamazoo Covenant Academy will soon be moving to a brand new building with room enough for our student-parents to bring their children!
This is very exciting because early parenthood is one of the most common reasons students drop out of school. It is our school's mission to replace obstacles with opportunity, and providing onsite childcare not only allows students to focus on their studies but gives them the added security of knowing their children are close by.
Now all we need are gentle humans to care for those children while our student-parents work to gain a high school diploma. We are awaiting clearance from the state to occupy the building any day and are looking to recruit volunteers in anticipation.
Check out our school and foundation websites for more information about our unique qualities: Kalamazoo Covenant Academy and Covenant Academies Foundation.
If you want to help and have patience, we would love to sign you up to care for our student-parents' babies a few hours a day!
Background check required at KCA's expense.
