Volunteer: KDPS Block Party Volunteers

We are looking for volunteers to help at our Block Party events. The first one will be on June 29th in the Eastside Neighborhood. The theme for this event is, "A Day at the Carnival". We need volunteers to help set-up and help run the event. Set-up includes, placing carnival games, booths, and activities. During the event, we will need volunteers to help run each carnival booth and activity.

We also will need volunteers at our future Block Parties on July 20, and August 4 and 24; more details to come!

Volunteer: Building Blocks Work Day Support - Pop up Park

Help Building Blocks strengthen our neighborhoods by helping create a pop up pocket park in the Eastside Neighborhood! We have adopted a lot from the Kalamazoo County Land Bank in partnership with the Eastside Neighborhood Association. The lot is overgrown and the community has a vision to create a community garden and park on Sat, July 1.

Volunteer: MI Bridges Customer Service Coach: Lobby Navigator Assistant

We are seeking a customer service oriented volunteer to work with two MDHHS specialists in the lobby assisting clients with navigating the MI Bridges system. Volunteers will be required to follow MDHHS policy and effectively communicate the MI Bridges system to a diverse group of clients (following orientation).

The ability to speak multiple languages is a plus but not required.
